Outdoor full-color LED displays are currently used in many places. For example, the large-screen advertisements that we often see in some outdoor buildings are difficult to achieve through traditional LCD displays. Even if they are realized, the cost is terrible. By using outdoor full-color LED displays to replace some traditional media display devices, outdoor full-color LED displays are so common.
When we use outdoor full-color LED displays, we naturally hope that the displayed images will be clearer and more realistic. So, how do we make the full-color LED display more clearly displayed outdoors?

1. Contrast improvement
Contrast is one of the key factors that affect the visual effect. Generally speaking, the higher the contrast, the clearer and more eye-catching the image, and the brighter and brighter the color. High contrast is very helpful for image clarity, detail performance, and gray level performance. In some text and video displays with large black-and-white contrast, high-contrast LED display screens have advantages in black-and-white contrast, clarity, and integrity. Contrast has a greater impact on the dynamic video display effect. Because the light-dark transition in the dynamic image is faster, the higher the contrast, the easier it is for human eyes to distinguish such a conversion process.
2. Two main methods to improve the contrast of the display screen:
Improve the brightness of the led display
In some situations, the brightness of LED display screen is not as high as possible. For example, if the brightness of an indoor display is too high, light pollution will be formed, which will damage the eyesight of the observer.
Reduce the reflectivity of the LED display surface
It is mainly to carry out special processing on the LED panel and LED light-emitting tube to reduce the reflectivity of the LED panel, thereby improving the contrast of the LED display screen.
Improved dot pitch production process
The LED full-color high-end display with a dot pitch of 4mm has been increased from 950:1 of the original process to 4000:1, which greatly improves the product's key index of contrast.
3, gray level
The gray level refers to the brightness level that can be distinguished from the darkest to the brightest in the brightness of the single primary color of the led display. The higher the gray level of the led display, the richer the color and the brighter the color; on the contrary, the display color is single , The change is simple. The increase of the gray level can greatly increase the color depth, making the display level of the image color increase geometrically. The LED gray scale control level is 14bit~16bit, making the image level resolution details and display effects of high-end display products reach the world's advanced level. With the development of hardware technology, LED gray scale will continue to develop to higher control accuracy.
