First, prevent high temperature

Before the typhoon "Compasses", the temperature in many areas in China reached 35 degrees Celsius. The outdoor LED display itself generally has a large area, which consumes more electricity during use, and the corresponding heat dissipation is also greater. If the temperature is high, if the heat dissipation problem cannot be solved in time, it is very likely to cause problems such as heating and short circuit of the circuit board. To ensure that the display circuit board is in good condition, try to choose a hollow design when designing the housing, which is conducive to heat dissipation.During installation, according to the equipment situation, the air permeability of the display should be maintained. If necessary, add heat dissipation equipment to the display, such as adding an air conditioner or fan inside to help the display heat dissipation.

Second, anti-typhoon

Outdoor LED display screens have different installation positions and different installation methods, such as wall-mounted, inlaid, column-mounted, and suspended. When the "compass" typhoon is approaching, in order to prevent the screen of the outdoor LED display from falling off, strict requirements are put forward on the load-bearing steel frame structure of the display. The engineering unit must design and install in strict accordance with the anti-typhoon grade standard, and at the same time have a certain degree of earthquake resistance to ensure that the outdoor LED display will not fall off and cause casualties.

Third, anti-torrential rain

There are many rainy days in the south, so the LED display itself must have a high level of waterproof protection to avoid being corroded by rain. In the outdoor use environment, the outdoor LED display should reach IP65 protection level, the module should be filled and sealed, choose a waterproof box, and use a waterproof ring to connect the module and the box.

Fourth, lightning protection

(1) Direct lightning protection: If the outdoor large LED screen is not within the range of direct lightning protection of nearby high-rise buildings, lightning rods should be installed on the top or near the steel structure of the display;

(2) Inductive lightning protection: Outdoor LED display power supply system adopts 1-2 power supply lightning protection, signal line adopts signal lightning protection device, computer room power supply system adopts 3-level lightning protection device, and signal lightning protection device is adopted for signal entering and exiting the equipment end of the computer room. ;

(3) All LED display circuits (power and signal) should be shielded and buried in the ground;

(4) The front end of the outdoor LED display and the grounding system of the computer room should meet the system requirements. Generally speaking, the grounding resistance of the front end should be less than or equal to 4 ohms, and the grounding resistance of the equipment room should be less than or equal to 1 ohm.
