Fault detection of floor tile screen
- Resistance detection method, adjust the multimeter to the resistance gear, and detect the resistance value of the normal circuit board to ground at a certain point, and then check the same point of another same circuit board to test whether the resistance value is different from the normal resistance value. If different, determine the scope of the problem.
- Voltage detection method, adjust the multimeter to the voltage range, detect the ground voltage of a certain point of the suspicious circuit, and compare whether it is similar to the normal value.
- Short circuit detection method, set the multimeter to the short circuit detection gear (some are diode drop gears or resistance gears, usually with an alarm function) to detect whether there is a short circuit phenomenon, and the short circuit should be solved first. To keep it from burning other equipment, this method must be used when the circuit is powered off to avoid damage to the meter.
- In the voltage drop detection method, set the multimeter to the diode voltage drop detection position. Since all ICs are made up of many basic individual components, they are only miniaturized, so when one of its pins is, there will be a voltage drop across that pin when there is current flowing through it.
Usually, the voltage drop on the same pin of the same type of IC is similar. Depending on the voltage drop value on the pins, the LED floor tile screen circuit must be operated without power. This method has certain limitations. For example, if the device under test is high impedance, it cannot be detected.
