How ETC lanes works
First, we need to make sure that the ETC device has been installed in the car and the ETC card has been inserted. When our car slowly enters the toll booth, the ETC lane sign at the entrance of the toll booth will send a signal to the ETC device and record our vehicle information.
When we drive out of the toll station, the ETC device will send the previously received entrance information to the ETC lane sign at the exit toll station for reading and calculating the tolls, and finally, the toll station will collect the corresponding fees from the bound deduction method.

Precautions for using ETC
Since the ETC lane markers next to the toll booths need to read the card information on the vehicle’s ETC device, you need to make sure that the ETC card or ETC device is within the validity period so that the ETC lane markers can recognize and read the information properly.
Since the recognition ability of ETC lane markers is weak, in order to prevent wrong recognition of vehicle information, we need to pay attention to keep a distance of 10-20 meters from the vehicle in front of us.
Still because of the weak recognition ability of ETC lane signs, there is usually a speed limit of 20 kilometers per hour when entering the toll gate. If the vehicle speed exceeds 20 kilometers per hour, it often fails to accurately identify the vehicle information.
When ETC equipment is used for a long time, it may malfunction. At this time, it may not be able to read the information automatically. However, we can manually remove the card in the ETC equipment and give it to the staff to read it manually.
