The Italian client for this project found us through our official website in March of this year. Initially, they simply wanted to install a temporary rental screen on a small stage—one that could be assembled on short notice to serve as a backdrop whenever an event was held. However, after our professional customer service team conducted a thorough assessment, we determined that a permanent installation would be a better fit for the client. This conclusion was based primarily on the following considerations:
- The wall where the screen was to be installed had a slight curve on both sides, making it impossible for a rental LED display to blend in seamlessly;
- Although events are held infrequently, labor costs are incurred every time the screen is assembled and disassembled, and these costs add up significantly over time.
- A permanently installed LED display can be reported as real estate or a fixed asset, allowing for depreciation deductions even if it is no longer in use in the future.
- Indoor fine-pitch displays all feature a magnetic attachment structure, allowing panels to be removed and replaced at any time using a suction cup tool—a feature not available with rental LED displays.
After multiple discussions, the client agreed to this solution, replacing the original rental LED display with a fixed indoor LED display. They opted for a high-end indoor display solution featuring 7680Hz IC chips to help achieve a flawless, high-definition display effect.
Why was a P1.5 display recommended for this project?
Since the indoor venue is relatively small, with the front-row audience sitting only about 3 meters from the stage, and given the large overall screen area, a 1.5mm pixel pitch LED display is highly suitable. Furthermore, since the screen is primarily used as a backdrop rather than for close-up text display, using fine-pitch LED modules actually enhances image detail. Therefore, all things considered, P1.5 is the optimal choice.
Production Process for the P1.5 LED Display
After the client confirmed this solution and paid the deposit, we proceeded to have the factory begin production according to standard procedures.

First, we need to prepare the P1.5 LED modules, fine-pitch die-cast aluminum cabinets, and suction cups. Since this type of fine-pitch LED display uses a magnetic attachment system, the modules automatically snap into place once inserted into the cabinets. Therefore, there is no need to prepare additional tools such as screws or screwdrivers.
Next, our factory’s assembly workers—who have over a decade of experience—assemble the entire screen and place it on a truss for a 48-hour burn-in test. During this process, the screen randomly displays videos and solid colors (all red, all green, all white, all black, etc.). Through this process, workers can identify and replace any LED modules with uneven brightness or dead pixels. This process is a mandatory step for all JYLED displays before they leave the factory, ensuring that customers receive a flawless product.
Finally, the tested LED display is carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and placed inside a wooden crate. The top lid is then secured with a nail gun, and the unit is shipped to the port.

Important Notes for Customer Installation
1. Upon receipt of the shipment, customers can proceed directly with assembling the display using the LED screen cabinets. Although this P1.5 LED display is coated with a waterproof and dustproof film on the modules, care must still be taken during installation to avoid dropping or bumping the modules. This is because the surface film cannot withstand excessive impact, and if a module is dropped, it can easily cause display abnormalities that cannot be self-repaired; therefore, special attention is required.
2. A 30-square-meter display places certain load-bearing requirements on the wall. However, during preliminary discussions, the customer confirmed that the wall is solid and 12 cm thick, so it is fully capable of supporting the installation of a 30-square-meter screen.
3. Install the steel framework first, followed by the display cabinets. Although it is possible to embed the cabinets directly into the wall, this would require demolishing the entire wall later on, making maintenance inconvenient. Therefore, we recommend that the client first erect the steel framework before installing the display cabinets. This approach ensures secure mounting while also facilitating future disassembly.

FAQs Regarding the P1.5 LED Display Project
How long does it take to start production after paying the deposit?
Once you’ve paid the deposit, production is typically arranged within 8 hours. If it falls on a holiday, there may be a slight delay, but production usually begins within 18 hours. For commonly used models like the P1.5, we often have excess inventory on hand, allowing us to skip the production phase and proceed directly to the cabinet assembly stage.
How do customers pick up their orders?
We will coordinate with a professional freight forwarder to deliver the goods to the port specified by the customer. Once the goods arrive at the customer’s port, the customer can simply sign for them upon receipt.
How should I install the display after receiving it?
If this is your first time purchasing and installing an LED display, please contact our customer service team. They can guide you step-by-step through the entire assembly process via video call.
How do I determine if a P1.5 LED display is suitable for my project?
This requires a comprehensive evaluation. If you’re looking to install a high-definition display indoors for close-up viewing, an LED display with a pixel pitch of less than 2 mm is ideal for your needs. Additionally, while the P1.5 offers slightly lower image resolution than the P1.25, it is significantly more cost-effective. If you have less stringent requirements for image resolution, we also offer a P1.95 model at an even more affordable price.
Can the price be adjusted while keeping the pixel pitch the same?
Yes. If you’d like a more affordable price while maintaining this pixel pitch, we can consider replacing the die-cast aluminum housing with a simpler steel enclosure. This will further reduce manufacturing costs, resulting in a lower purchase price for you.
